Here’s the plan: 30 days of 30 classes

Class:

Hey there. My name is Jenn and I’m signed up for thirty continuing education classes at the University of Utah this spring.

What??? Am I crazy?

Nope. (Yup?)  I like to learn, so I decided what the heck, why not embark on a learning challenge? My plan is to take these thirty classes during the next ten weeks and to share “30 days of 30 classes” with you.

A sampling of classes:

  • Screen Printing — watch out Robert Rauschenberg!
  • The Art of Pruning — watch out Edward Scissorhands!
  • How to Brew Beer —  watch out microbrew/artisan/large corporate beer company! (That class should score me lots of points with my boyfriend.)

The class sessions range from a few hours on a single day to a six-week course. I’ve created a special calendar to keep on top of all the learning and must confess: seeing all of the classes plotted out makes me a bit giddy. Bring on the brain fueling.

>Sign up for Lifelong Learning classes at Continuing Education at the University of Utah here.

>Learn a bit about me here.

P.S. Taking a class is a great way to get over intimidating subjects. Is there something you want to learn but you need a kick in the pants to get started? Leave a comment and I’ll be your Brainfueling cheerleader!
